CYSTITIS is an inflammation of the mucous membrane of the bladder.

Cystitis can be infectious or non-infectious, acute or chronic. The most common causative agent of cystitis is Escherichia coli E.Coli (70-95%). Approximately 25-30% of women of reproductive age annually experience at least one case of cystitis, most often of an infectious nature. Non-infectious cystitis occurs in women during menopause, when a decrease in estrogen levels leads to disruption of the vaginal microbiocenosis, atrophy of the urinary tract epithelium and reduces its resistance to microflora.

Symptoms of cystitis include frequent urination, false urges, discomfort and pain, especially at the end of urination. An important diagnostic sign of cystitis is pyuria (high levels of leukocytes in the urine). The development of cystitis is facilitated by: hypothermia, weakened immune potential, condition after serious illness or surgery, bladder injury, disruption of the bladder and stagnation of urine, for example, with prostate adenoma (in men).

URETHRITIS is an inflammation of the urethra and the cause of the spread of infections to the prostate gland, which leads to the development of prostatitis, sexual dysfunction, or even infertility.

Urethritis manifests itself as pain, pain, burning, itching and any other discomfort when urinating, as well as specific discharge from the urethra.

Urethritis can be infectious and non-infectious, specific and nonspecific. Factors in the development of urethritis are: hypothermia, gynecological diseases (in women), urolithiasis, heavy physical activity, irregular sex life, unbalanced diet, irregular urination, catheterization of the bladder, trauma to the penis (in men).

Cystitis and urethritis often occur simultaneously and are common diseases in men and women. PYELONEPHRITIS is an infectious-inflammatory process in the kidneys. Pyelonephritis is the most common kidney disease, occurring at any age and ranking second in prevalence after acute respiratory viral infections.

Chronic pyelonephritis can constantly bother the patient with dull aching pain in the lower back, especially in damp, cold weather. Chronic pyelonephritis can worsen, and then all the signs of an acute process appear (unexplained fever, change in urine color, the presence of protein and leukocytes in the urine). Risk factors for the development of pyelonephritis are: anatomical and functional features of the genitourinary organs; chronic diseases of the urogenital tract (cystitis, urethritis), neurogenic disorders, as well as dysbacteriosis, weakened immunity, chemotherapy and radiation therapy, diabetes mellitus.

URINOLOGICAL DISEASE is characterized by the formation of stones in the organs of the urinary system, in most cases in the kidneys and bladder. Kidney stones are detected in 2-3% of the population, mainly in people of working age, while men are affected 3 times more often than women.

The main cause of the occurrence and development of urolithiasis is considered to be a metabolic disorder, which leads to the deposition of insoluble salts that form stones. An X-ray image allows you to quickly assess the size and position of stones, but there are stones that are not visible on an X-ray due to their chemical composition. The main predisposing factors for the development of the disease include: anatomical malformations of the urinary tract; chronic diseases of the urogenital tract (pyelonephritis, cystitis, inflammation of the prostate, etc.); chronic diseases of the digestive system (gastritis, colitis, etc.). The prolonged presence of stones without a tendency to pass leads to serious infectious complications of urolithiasis.

Properties of dietary supplement components for food "UROPROFIT"

Diseases of the kidneys and urinary system often take a chronic form, and the recovery process takes a long period of time. There are plant extracts that have pronounced diuretic and antimicrobial properties, which have proven their effectiveness over thousands of years of experience in their use. Cranberry extract (Vaccinium oxycoccus)

The main active component of cranberries are proangocyanidins, which prevent the attachment of pathogenic bacteria to the walls of the bladder and urethra, thereby preventing the proliferation of bacteria in the urinary tract. When cranberry preparations are taken orally, proanthocyanidins accumulate in high concentrations in the urine.

Cranberry fruits contain organic acids (citric, benzoic, malic, quinic, etc.), ascorbic acid, B vitamins, flavonic acids, tannins, triterpenoids (ursolic and oleanolic acids), leukoanthocyanins, phylloquinone (vitamin K), glycosides , trace elements (iron, manganese, copper, potassium, calcium, phosphates).

• Has anti-inflammatory, diuretic, antimicrobial and restorative effects. The antimicrobial properties are due to the presence of benzoic and chlorogenic acids in the berries, and the anti-inflammatory effect is due to the presence of ursolic acid.

• Enhances the effect of urosegtic drugs from the group of antibiotics and sulfonamides. Bearberry Leaf Extract (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi)

The main active ingredients of bearberry are phenolic glycosides, flavonoids and tannins.

• Has an antimicrobial effect due to the presence of arbutin and methylarbugin in the extract, which are broken down in the body to hydroquinone, with a pronounced antibacterial effect, as a result of which the urinary tract is cleared of bacterial flora.

• Has an anti-inflammatory effect, because. contains tannins. Flavonoids contained in bearberry increase diuresis while simultaneously removing sodium and chlorine ions from the body. This plant inhibits the reabsorption of uric acid in the renal tubules and increases its solubility, reducing the formation of stones in the urinary tract.

• Bearberry enhances the effects of uroseptic and anti-inflammatory drugs. Horsetail extract (Equisetum arvense)

Horsetail contains flavonoids, organic acids, calcium, chromium, iron, potassium, and a large amount of silicic acid salts.

• Helps protect the epithelium during inflammation, which is ensured by the removal of toxins from the urinary tract.

• Has a mild antispasmodic effect.

• Horsetail flavonoids have an antiseptic effect. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid)

• Increases the body's resistance to infections.

• Reduces the severity of inflammatory reactions.

Thus, the complex of biologically active substances included in the dietary supplement “UROPROFIT” has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, diuretic effects and prevents the formation of urinary stones. The complex of ingredients “UROPROFIT” helps normalize urination, reduces the risk of repeated exacerbations of chronic cystitis, improves the functional state of the kidneys and urinary tract, and helps reduce renal edema. Application: "UROPROFIT" is recommended to reduce the risk of developing diseases of the urogenital tract (cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis).
