Tsiprolet 500 mg 10 pcs. film-coated tablets

Tsiprolet

A broad-spectrum antibacterial drug from the group of fluoroquinolones. Acts bactericidal. The drug inhibits the enzyme DNA gyrase of bacteria, as a result of which DNA replication and the synthesis of cellular proteins of bacteria are disrupted. Ciprofloxacin acts both on microorganisms that are reproducing and those in the resting phase.

Gram-negative aerobic bacteria are sensitive to ciprofloxacin: Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Citrobacter spp., Klebsiella spp., Enterobacter spp., Proteus mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, Serratia marcescens, Hafhia alvei, Edwardsiella tarda, Providencia spp., Morganella morganii, Vibrio spp., Yersinia spp.; other gram-negative bacteria: Haemophilus spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Moraxella catarrhalis, Aeromonas spp., Pasteurella multocida, Plesiomonas shigelloides, Campylobacter jejuni, Neisseria spp.; some intracellular pathogens: Legionella pneumophila, Brucella spp., Chlamydia trachomatis, Listeria monocytogenes, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Mycobacterium kansasii, Mycobacterium avium-intracellulare.

Gram-positive aerobic bacteria are also sensitive to ciprofloxacin: Staphylococcus spp. (S.aureus, S.haemolyticus, S.hominis, S.saprophyticus), Streptococcus spp. (St. pyogenes, St. agalactiae). Most staphylococci resistant to methicillin are also resistant to ciprofloxacin.

The sensitivity of bacteria Streptococcus pneumoniae and Enterococcus faecalis is moderate.

Corynebacterium spp., Bacteroides fragilis, Pseudomonas cepacia, Pseudomonas maltophilia, Ureaplasma urealyticum, Clostridium difficile, Nocardia asteroides are resistant to the drug. The effect of the drug against Treponema pallidum has not been sufficiently studied.

Pharmacokinetics

When taken orally, ciprofloxacin is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. The bioavailability of the drug is 50-85%. Cmax of the drug in the blood serum of healthy volunteers after oral administration of the drug (before meals) at a dose of 250, 500, 750 and 1000 mg is achieved after 1-1.5 hours and is 1.2, 2.4, 4.3 and 5.4 μg/ml, respectively.

Orally taken ciprofloxacin is distributed in the tissues and fluids of the body. High concentrations of the drug are observed in bile, lungs, kidneys, liver, gall bladder, uterus, seminal fluid, prostate tissue, tonsils, endometrium, fallopian tubes and ovaries. The concentration of the drug in these tissues is higher than in the serum. Ciprofloxacin also penetrates well into bones, eye fluid, bronchial secretions, saliva, skin, muscles, pleura, peritoneum, and lymph.

The accumulating concentration of ciprofloxacin in blood neutrophils is 2-7 times higher than in serum.

Vd in the body is 2-3.5 l/kg. The drug penetrates into the cerebrospinal fluid in a small amount, where its concentration is 6-10% of that in the serum.

The degree of binding of ciprofloxacin to plasma proteins is 30%.

In patients with unchanged renal function, T1/2 is usually 3-5 hours. The main route of excretion of ciprofloxacin from the body is through the kidneys. 50-70% is excreted in urine. From 15 to 30% is excreted in feces.

If renal function is impaired, T1/2 increases.

Patients with severe renal failure (creatinine clearance below 20 ml/min/1.73 m2) should be prescribed half the daily dose of the drug.

Antibiotic Tsiprolet (Dr. Reddy's) - reviews

The doctor prescribed Tsiprolet for acute bronchitis. She became very sick, so much so that she had severe wheezing and a terrible cough. Tsiprolet is a very strong antibiotic and should not be abused. I read a lot of reviews about him. Of course, all reviews are far from unambiguous, but the fact that Tsiprolet helps against infections also has a strong effect on the body and kills the immune system. After some time, I fell ill with cystitis and another doctor also prescribed this Tsiprolet to me. I don’t know if I did the right thing, but I didn’t take it because it could have bad consequences. I was cured without Tsiprolet. In general, if we talk about Tsiprolet as a good antibiotic, then yes. Will help.

A gynecologist prescribed me pills against inflammatory processes of the pelvic organs. She prescribed them for me before the new year, I was treated for 7 days, two tablets a day. Immediately after the first tablet, you feel a bitterness in your mouth and a metallic taste, which makes it very difficult to eat food. I was dizzy and had headaches every day. The nausea is terrible, especially in the evening. Side effects may also include hallucinations, fainting, stress - fortunately, I didn’t experience all of this. But the fact that it was enough was enough, I thought I would die while I was taking these antibiotics.

Whether it helped or not I don’t know yet, I’ll go to the doctor after the holidays.

The tablets cost 180 rubles, there are 10 tablets in a pack, they prescribed me for 7 days, I had to buy another pack

Hello again!

Today I want to share with you my impressions of an antibiotic called Tsiprolet. I have known it for a very long time and have drank it more than once. Since childhood, doctors constantly prescribed it to me when I once again suffered from acute sinusitis or sinusitis. I have always had problems with my nose, so I always keep Tsiprolet in my medicine cabinet so that I can drink it at the right time and not suffer from too severe complications later. I’ll say right away that you should take this antibiotic only as prescribed by a doctor and under no circumstances buy it just like that.

Why did I decide to buy it?

As I said above, I was previously prescribed this drug for severe sinusitis, which was difficult to treat. Nowadays, due to sinusitis, they began to prescribe it to me less often, but there was another reason why I was prescribed this drug.

About a month ago I was sent to do a swab of the throat and nose, the result of which showed that I had staphylococcus, which needs to be treated with Tsiprolet.

That is why in my review today I will talk about both cases of taking the drug, I really hope that my experience will be useful to someone.

Where to buy and how much does it cost?

You can buy Tsiprolet in absolutely any pharmacy.

The price for it is quite low - around 100 rubles . In some pharmacies the cost can reach up to 150.

If you take Tsiprolet as a course, then for two packs you will have to pay 200 rubles (as happened in my last case).

the design of the box not long ago. Previously, the packaging was designed in white with small brown and blue semi-circles. At first I even thought that now someone else had started producing Tsiprolet, but no! They just changed the box itself and its contents, but the manufacturer remained the same.

In the photo above you can read the active substances of this antibiotic.

The Tsiprolet itself is made in India .

Inside the box there were detailed instructions, which the manufacturer also managed to change. I noticed this because I still have Tsiprolet in the previous design.

Below I will attach basic information about the drug, in case it is useful to someone.

Side effects of Tsiprolet:

Overdose and compatibility with other drugs...

Special instructions…

Release form, storage conditions, etc.

In general, the drug is available with a doctor’s prescription, but the pharmacy never asked me for it. Even strange...

The package itself contains a blister with 10 tablets.

The tablets are medium in size, swallow without problems and never get stuck in the throat.

color .

smell .

The taste is very bitter, which I definitely don't like. You have to take the tablet very quickly so as not to feel the nasty bitterness in your mouth.

Impressions of use

I was prescribed one pill per day for sinusitis, regardless of meals. For me personally, this method of use is the most convenient, since I don’t always eat regularly and I don’t have to worry about it because of this. I always take the tablets with about one glass of clean water.

After drinking Tsiprolet, about an hour later nausea began, which upset me every time. It takes a long time to go away, so you may feel sick during the entire course of taking the antibiotic.

Sinusitis does not go away as quickly with Tsiprolet as we would like. In about a week and a half. As for me, the result is still rather weak.

For staphylococcus Tsiprolet, I was told to take two tablets a day for 10 days.

This drug lowered my temperature a little from 37.2 to 36.8. The result is quite good, so I do not regret taking this medicine.

But there is one very fat BUT , because of which I always drink Tsiprolet with reluctance.

Every time after I start taking this antibiotic, I always get thrush! This means that the unpleasant sensations will continue throughout the entire treatment, and after its completion you will have to take Fluconazole to cure what provokes Tsiprolet.

Do I recommend Antibiotic Dr. Reddy's Ciprolet?

If this drug was prescribed by a doctor, then of course yes.

I have been taking it for several years now due to frequent problems with my nose, but I have now found drugs that are more effective for sinusitis than Tsiprolet.

The remedy helps against staphylococcus, but you can definitely check this only after taking a second smear, but for now I focus exclusively on my well-being.

I will give Tsiprolet 3 out of 5 stars because the side effects really bother me. First we treat our illnesses, and then we treat what the “medicinal” pills caused.

If you are going to take Tsiprolet, then it is quite possible that you will experience nausea and thrush while taking the drug.
