Pharmacological properties

The pharmacological properties of Antioxicaps with zinc are determined by the action of the active components contained in the capsules.

Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) enhances the body's resistance to infections and its adaptive capabilities. Increases cholesterol metabolism, activates carbohydrate-protein metabolism, increases blood clotting, and participates in the regulation of redox processes in the body. Enhances tissue regeneration, synthesis of collagen, procollagen and steroid hormones.

Alpha-tocopherol acetate (vitamin E) normalizes the function and structure of red blood cell membranes, stabilizes the strength of double bonds in unsaturated fatty acids, thereby suppressing the oxidation of fats in the body and inhibiting the formation of toxic peroxides from them. Participates in the biosynthesis of proteins, heme and collagen, activates cell proliferation, improves the function of tissue respiration and other important processes of cellular metabolism.

Betacarotene is an antioxidant of the carotenoid group with an anti-inflammatory effect. It is able to bind active oxygen and thereby protect cellular structures from the destructive effects of free radicals, which are formed in large quantities under the adverse effects of environmental factors and in the event of the development of pathological processes in the body.

Zinc is involved in the process of hematopoiesis, endocrine regulation, biochemical reactions of the body, the formation of a number of hormones (including sex hormones), the formation of mental reactions, the processes of interaction of immunocompetent cells, the metabolism of fats, proteins, carbohydrates and nucleic acids. Part of enzymes that stabilize and protect cell membranes. It is a component of pancreatic juice. Promotes better absorption and action of B vitamins.

Indications for use

Antioxicaps with zinc is used for the prevention and treatment of vitamin deficiency (vitamins A, C, E) and zinc ion deficiency.
