Mode of application
The dietary supplement is taken orally. It is swallowed completely with large quantities of water or fruit juices. It is advisable to do this after a meal or during a meal. The dose of the dietary supplement (in terms of lipase) is determined by the degree of pancreatic insufficiency and the age of the patient. For adults, the average dose of Biozym is 150 thousand units/day; if a person has complete insufficiency of exocrine pancreatic function - 400 thousand units/day, which corresponds to the daily requirement of an adult patient for lipase. Directions for use and dosage
Biozyme tablets are taken during meals or immediately after, without chewing and with water. A single dosage for adults is 2-4 tablets, the frequency of taking the drug is 3-4 times a day.
Children can take Biozym only as prescribed by a doctor. A single dosage is determined by age:
- 6-7 years – 1 tablet;
- 8-9 years – 1-2 tablets;
- 10-14 years – 2 tablets.
As an anti-inflammatory drug, Biozym is taken 2-3 capsules several times a day, maximum 8 capsules per day.
