What is Badyaga?
Badyaga are sponges that live in fresh waters. Their skeleton is a looped network of microscopic silica needles interconnected by spongin (horny substance, a protein from the group of scleroproteins).
The skeleton of sponges also includes carbonates, phosphates and a number of organic substances.
Pharmacodynamics
Medicines based on sponge powder, when applied externally, help dilate blood vessels, resolve infiltrates, and also reduce the intensity of pain.
The action of the drug is based on the fact that crushed silica needles, irritating the skin, thereby cause vasodilation and promote activation of blood supply; local release of histamine, autacoid-kinins, Pg and other biologically active substances; provide a resolving effect.
The action of Badyagi is accompanied by a bactericidal effect, a weak warming effect, as well as temporary redness of the skin.
Indications for use
The use of Badyaga powder is indicated for neuralgic and rheumatic pain , arthritis , and bruises .
Gel with Badyaga is an effective remedy for acne , congestive and age spots. It cleanses the skin, has excellent absorbable properties, activating blood microcirculation, improves its appearance and makes it more elastic.
Application option
Even the most advanced rash can be eliminated by a mixture of badyagi and boric acid. Five grams of powder must be combined with acid (two or five percent is suitable) to the consistency of thick sour cream. The product should be applied to the skin twice a week, the course is 30 days.

Gel Badyaga: instructions for use
For cosmetic purposes, Badyaga gel (ointment) is applied to the facial skin in a thin layer. The exposure time is from 10 to 20 minutes, after this time the remaining product is washed off with warm water.
After the procedure, it is not recommended to go outside for 2-3 hours.
To exfoliate and whiten the skin, the gel can be used no more than once a week. If necessary, the cosmetic procedure can be repeated up to three times a week.
After using the gel with Badyaga, a softening nourishing cream is applied to the face.
Apply the cream to areas of the body with light circular movements and leave for 20-30 minutes. After this time, remove with a damp cloth or wash off with water.

Badyaga for acne
Badyaga for acne can be used both in powder and in the form of ready-made preparations (for example, Badyaga 911 or Badyaga Forte ).
For those who have not tried to treat problem skin with this product before, it is recommended to first try Badyaga gel for acne: reviews suggest that it acts more gently in comparison with powder.
The gel is applied in a thin layer to the areas most affected by acne or, if acne , spot on.

- cream (2 tablespoons per 1 teaspoon of powder) and rice flour in the amount necessary to obtain a mushy mass;
- oatmeal (2 tbsp. spoons) and cream (2 tbsp. spoons);
- egg and milk.
You can prepare a honey mask based on the gel. The ingredients (gel and liquid honey) are taken in a 1:1 ratio.
Badyaga for bruises
Badyaga powder for bruises in its pure form is rarely used. Reviews allow us to conclude that it is much more convenient for this purpose to use pharmaceutical products - gels and ointments - based on powder from sponges of the Spongillidae family. The medicine is applied to the bruised area up to 4 times a day until the bruise completely disappears.
You can also prepare a cream for bruises under the eyes using Badyagi. The mixture includes: 1 teaspoon of powder, 2 teaspoons of plantain decoction, moisturizing cream.
Mix the ingredients thoroughly, then apply the cream under the eyes. The exposure time is from 3 to 5 minutes, after which the composition should be washed off (carefully so that the composition does not get on the mucous membranes).
A mask with powder diluted with 3% hydrogen peroxide , as well as compresses with powder mixed with vegetable oil, are good for removing dark circles under the eyes.

Badyaga for stretch marks
The Badyagi effect is comparable to the effect of deep peeling, after which the skin begins to renew itself. And it is precisely this property of the product that allows it to be used to combat stretch marks on the body.
