"Traumel" is a medicinal product that is produced in the form of a gel and medicine. Contains extracts of more than 10 plants. It has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. Apply to intact (no wounds) skin with a small strip up to 5-6 times a day.

The properties of Traumeel S are due to the activity of its constituents in homeopathic dilutions: arnica, calendula, witch hazel, yarrow, belladonna, aconite, comfrey, chamomile, daisy, St. John's wort, echinacea, Hahnemann's soluble mercury, liver sulfur.
The tablets contain as auxiliary components: lactose and Mg stearate; in solution - water and sodium chloride; in the ointment - 96% ethyl and cetostearyl alcohol, liquid and solid paraffin, purified water.
All dosage forms of the drug are manufactured in accordance with the guidelines of the HAB (Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of Germany).
When not to use
The medicine is not indicated for allergies to its components. This is due to the high likelihood of an allergic reaction to yarrow, chamomile, calendula, echinacea and other components. Intolerance to the emulsifying cetyl stearyl alcohol is also possible.
The medication should not be used for tuberculosis of the lungs, collagenosis, or multiple sclerosis. The drug is not indicated for patients with acquired immunodeficiencies, HPV, and autoimmune diseases.
The medicine should not be used in children under 3 years of age. This group of patients is highly likely to have an allergic reaction to herbal components.

Contraindications

Side effects
After taking tablets/drops, hypersalivation (due to increased sensitivity to plants of the Asteraceae family) or irritation of the oral mucosa (in particular, the cheeks) is possible. In such cases, treatment is suspended.

- children under one year old - 1 teaspoon;
- children from one to 6 years old - 2 teaspoons;
- children from 6 to 12 years old - 3 teaspoons (the remaining medicine can be stored in a light-protected place at room temperature for no more than a day).
A single dose should be taken 3 times a day. an hour after or 20 minutes before a meal.
In case of acute onset of the disease, it is recommended to take one tablet every 15 minutes during the first two hours. In the future, they switch to three doses a day.
The course lasts from 2 to 4 weeks.
Traumeel S injections: instructions for use
A single dose of solution for patients over 12 years of age is 2.2 ml (contents of one ampoule). Infants (under the age of one year) are administered the medicine at 0.4 ml, patients 1-3 years old - 0.6 ml, patients 3-6 years old - 1 ml, patients 6-12 years old - 1.5 ml.
The indicated age dose should be used 1-3 times/week. For adults - in the form of intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, and, if necessary, intravenous (the drug is administered in a stream), peri- and intra-articular injections.
The solution can also be injected into acupuncture points or taken orally. Oral administration is considered preferable for children. An age-specific single dose of the medicine is diluted in 1-2 teaspoons of water, dripped into the child’s mouth or given to drink (the solution must be held in the mouth for several seconds before swallowing).
The duration of the course is from 2 weeks to a month.

The ointment (cream) is applied to the inflamed or injured area of the body 2-3 rubles/day, for acute injuries - up to 6 rubles/day. The drug can be rubbed into the skin with light movements, applied under a bandage or administered with phonophoresis.
Even areas of the skin with minor damage are treated with ointment. A prerequisite in this case is the absence of the development of wound infection.
Treatment is continued for 2-4 weeks.
