pharmachologic effect
Symbiolact compositum has a normalizing effect on the intestinal microflora: it maintains and regulates the physiological balance of the intestinal microflora (microbiocenosis) and ensures its physiological functions in the intestine.
The therapeutic effect of Symbiolact compositum is determined by living lactobacilli and bifidobacteria, which act as antagonists against a wide range of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms. Lactic acid bacteria, which are part of Symbiolact Compositum, produce lactic and, to a lesser extent, acetic and propylene acid. The acidic environment created in the intestines is unfavorable for the development of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms. Lactic acid bacteria are involved in the resorption of monosaccharides, the metabolism of bile acids, stabilize the membranes of intestinal epithelial cells and regulate the absorption of electrolytes and the synthesis of vitamins (vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin K, vitamin E, vitamin PP, ascorbic acid, biotin) ; create favorable conditions for the absorption of iron, calcium, vitamin D (vitamin D2, vitamin D3). The use of Symbiolact compositum facilitates the digestion of proteins; Bifidobacterium phosphoprotein phosphatase is involved in the metabolism of milk casein. The activity of intestinal microflora can be disrupted due to a number of factors: taking certain medications (antibiotics, laxatives); unbalanced diet with a large amount of industrially prepared and high-calorie foods containing few ballast substances; stress and tension, smoking and alcohol abuse; intoxication with substances coming from the environment. The consequence of all this may be a violation of the harmonious balance of the microflora composition.
Description and composition
The product belongs to the group of dietary supplements and is not a medicine. Available in powder form, which is packaged in sachets. The active substance is cultures of living bacteria - lactic acid and probiotics. The composition also contains silicon in the form of dioxide, maltodextrin, biotin and animal protein (the latter in trace quantities).
The drug should be stored in a dry place at temperatures up to 25 degrees. Keep away from direct sunlight, keep out of reach of children, and do not damage the integrity of the packaging. If the described rules are followed, the shelf life is 2 years from the date of production.
Indications
Symbiolact Compositum is intended for the treatment of adults and children, starting from the first days of life. Symbiolact compositum is used both as monotherapy and as part of complex microbiological therapy: intestinal dysbiosis (intestinal dysbiosis), including due to the use of antibiotics, sulfonamide drugs and other chemotherapeutic agents; chronic colitis of various etiologies, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease; previous acute intestinal infections; chronic enterocolitis; irritable bowel syndrome; traveler's diarrhea, acute diarrhea; constipation, flatulence; sanitation of the genital tract for nonspecific inflammatory diseases of the genitals; prenatal preparation of pregnant women of the “risk” group with violation of vaginal cleanliness of the III-IV degree; chronic infections of the genitourinary system (cystitis, prostatitis, vaginitis, urethritis); mycoses of the oral cavity, intestines, skin, nails, hair, vagina; chronic and recurrent diseases of the respiratory tract and ENT organs (bronchitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, otitis media); atopic diseases (atopic dermatitis/neurodermatitis, allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, bronchial asthma); allergies (including food allergies), allergosis; chronic inflammatory skin diseases (acne, furunculosis).
Pharmacology
The product serves as an additional source of probiotics, lactobacilli and biotin (vitamin B7 or H). The intestinal mucosa has the maximum area compared to all other parts of the body. In case of violations, it undergoes complete recovery in 2-3 days. To maintain metabolic processes at a normal level, the body must regularly receive a sufficient amount of nutritional components.
Biotin and beneficial microorganisms come from the soil. Biotin is also synthesized in small amounts by intestinal microflora. But while taking antibiotics, these components can be destroyed, and therefore an additional source of supply is required.
Main functions of biotin:
- maintaining normal metabolism;
- converting glucose into convenient forms;
- activation of fatty acids;
- maintaining normal blood glucose levels;
- strengthening hair and nails;
- improvement of the skin;
- maintaining brain function;
- prevention of dementia;
- improvement of attention, memory;
- maintaining the functions of the cardiovascular system;
- normalization of the thyroid gland;
- tissue and muscle restoration.
Beneficial microorganisms have a beneficial effect on all parts of the digestive system. Lactobacilli enter the small intestine, bifidobacteria enter the large intestine.
These bacteria perform several important functions:
- improved digestion;
- cleansing of toxins;
- elimination of dysbacteriosis;
- destruction of harmful bacteria;
- elimination of pain, heaviness in the abdomen;
- activation of cellular immunity;
- prevention of infectious diseases.
