The drug Hexicon is a vaginal suppository containing chlorhexidine. The active substance of the drug has a wide spectrum of action. It has a detrimental effect on fungi, viruses and bacteria. It is used very widely in medical practice:

How to use the solution
The solution can be used externally and locally in the form of rinses and irrigations. Apply about 5-10 ml to the affected area. Repeat 2 times a day.
In order to prevent sexually transmitted infections, you should use the solution no later than 2 hours from the moment of unprotected intercourse.
A special nozzle in the package allows you to inject the solution into the urethra (up to 3 ml) or into the vagina (up to 10 ml). You need to hold the nozzle for a couple of minutes. The solution must be wiped over the inside of the thigh and genitals.

Hexicon has a fairly wide range of applications and is used for:
- burning sensation and itching in the vulva area;
- cervical erosion;
- vaginosis of bacterial origin;
- colpitis of all types.
In addition to the fact that Hexicon is prescribed to eliminate diseases, it is also used to prevent:
- infectious and inflammatory processes that occurred before or after childbirth;
- complications before or after artificial termination of pregnancy, installation of a device (intrauterine), gynecological examination;
- sexually transmitted infections (in particular, gonorrhea, genital herpes, syphilis, etc.).
The solution is used for various infections in dermatology, gynecology and urology, as well as for the treatment of various purulent wounds and burns. Where to put Hexicon candles
The suppository is inserted into the vagina as deeply as possible. To prevent the contents from leaking out, it is better to take a lying position and spread your legs at the knees.
