Damaged tissues are protected from further irritation, the surface remains dry. The inflammation inhibitor bufexamac promotes healing and restoration of healthy mucosa. The ointment provides rapid reduction of hemorrhoidal pain, reduction and attenuation of hemorrhoid symptoms. Stool occurs easier and less painful. Titanium dioxide potentiates the therapeutic effect of bismuth subgallate and bufexamac. The ointment base of the drug protects the surface of the wound and facilitates emptying.
