BIFIDUMBACTERIN FORTE (powder)

It was not clear whether it was Bifidumbacterin or not, because they were treated comprehensively.
As for its use in the hospital, it is prescribed constantly, whether there is loose stool or not, whether there is dysbacteriosis or not, it is prescribed to everyone in order to prevent the appearance. I can only say one thing: if the stool deteriorates from taking antibiotics, then, as I already wrote in the review about Amoxicillin, this may be a consequence of the wrong choice of the drug or its dose. It is enough to change the antibiotic and loose stools go away. And if you already have problems with your stool, then Bifidumbacketrin will not help, as there was diarrhea and remains the same until you stop injecting antibiotics. I don’t know about others, but this has been verified from our personal experience.

But still, let’s give this medicine a small chance, let’s assume that there is some effect, but it’s completely invisible to the eye)) Therefore, as they say, extra “correct” bacteria are not a hindrance to the intestines, so I always try to give Bifidumbacterin in the hospital, if only they give it out for free.

Bifidumbacterin looks like a white powder with black inclusions of activated carbon. All this is packed in special foil bags, several pieces per pack. Should only be stored in the refrigerator.

The most unpleasant thing about using this medicine is its dilution! The drug stubbornly refuses to dissolve in water. Even if you disturb him for an hour, it won’t do any good. Therefore, you have to shake it very, very strongly, and then, before the particles have time to settle, pour it into the child’s mouth. If the child is big, then this, as you understand, will not be much work. But if this is a baby under one year old, then you have to work hard. It is not always possible to put all the medicine into the mouth from a teaspoon; some of it spills down the collar, because the child actively shakes his head. I got used to taking a dosing syringe from Nurofen and using it to draw up diluted Bifidumbacterin, then squeezing it exactly into the child’s mouth, thus minimizing the loss of medicine. But there were problems with this too. It happened that you put Bifidumbacterin into this syringe, and while you squeeze the child so that it is convenient to pour it out and it is convenient to open his mouth, then all the particles of the medicine inside the syringe will settle, and when you squeeze it into the mouth, only water will pour out, and all the necessary particles of the medicine remain at the bottom of the syringe. This requires skill. I consider this a big disadvantage, because not only is it doubtful for me whether the drug helps or not, but it is also very inconvenient to give it.

Therefore, I don’t dare advise you to take it. Well, if they gave you such a remedy for free in the hospital, then try it, maybe you will like it and it will cause positive feedback from you personally. I have already made all the conclusions for myself.
