This subspecies includes a product mined within the Ural Mountains. Shamans of the region have known about mumiyo for a very long time - they have successfully used and continue to use it today in the treatment of a number of diseases:

  • ENT diseases;
  • stomach ulcers;
  • diseases of the urogenital area;
  • fractures, burns;
  • as a means of detoxification for various types of poisoning;
  • cancer, depressive disorders;
  • autoimmune diseases, etc.

Altai mumiyo has a very good reputation, even in its unrefined form, according to many herbalists, this product has high healing properties. However, purified Altai mumiyo is more often presented in pharmacies.

The product is used in the treatment and prevention of diseases. It is recommended to follow a simple regimen when consuming:

  • if your body weight is less than 90 kg, then 0.2 grams of mumiyo must be dissolved in ¼ glass of warm, clean water at a time. Two such techniques will be required daily;
  • with a weight over 90 kg, the dosage increases by 0.1 g for every 10 kg of body weight. It is important to ensure that the total dosage does not exceed 0.8 g daily.

Golden mumiyo

It is a subspecies of the Altai mumiyo, the main difference is in color. Gold has a slightly reddish tint. It has no other distinctive properties. It is also worth noting that many herbalists often choose dark brown shilajit, the classic one, as it contains the full potential of mountain resin.

Golden mumiyo is a popular product in cosmetology. It is widely used for:

  • enriching the composition of shampoos, conditioners and hair masks;
  • production of body care products, as well as balms for the treatment of scars and stretch marks;
  • improving the composition of tonics and lotions recommended for inflamed facial skin.

Golden Shilajit is also used as a day tonic to relieve nervous tension and get rid of fatigue.

Kyrgyz mumiyo

Tashkent surgeon, MD, professor Shakirov A.Sh. spent many years exploring the Tien Shan to find mumiyo. Having found the substrate, he began thorough laboratory research and clinical testing of mumiyo on patients with bone fractures and dislocations. Professor Shakirov managed to obtain approval from the Ministry of Health of the republic to produce the first tablets of purified mummy. Extensive research work has shown that preparations with mumiyo can accelerate the results of healing of bone fractures compared to traditional clinical practice. Callus at the fracture sites appeared 7-14 days earlier, which made it possible to remove the patient’s cast earlier and begin to develop muscles that had been inactive for a long time.

The regenerative properties of mumiyo are widely in demand, especially in the treatment of habitual sprains, when the effect is achieved in a very short time, compared to traditional means.

Important! Mumiyo and alcoholic drinks do not mix. When taking medications in any form containing mumiyo, any alcoholic beverages should be completely avoided.
