Adverse reaction

Therapeutic measures rarely become a source of development of non-standard responses of the body. Side effects appear:

  • allergies - with dermatological rashes, conjunctivitis, cough, difficulty with nasal breathing;
  • peripheral swelling, temporary increase in blood pressure;
  • dyspepsia with nausea, belching, active gas formation and bloating in the abdomen;

The occurrence of these symptoms requires the patient to immediately stop treatment and visit a doctor for additional consultation. The patient must describe in detail the changes in the condition and receive a new treatment regimen with a different drug.

Release form

The medicine is available in the form of hard gelatin capsules. The body and cap of the capsule are brown. The contents are an oily paste-like mass. The color of this mass ranges between light yellow and orange-brown. Characterized by a weak specific odor.

Capsules are packaged in blister packs of 10 pieces or in plastic containers of 30, 50, 100, 200 or 300 pieces. Cellular packaging is placed in cardboard packs of 2, 3 or 5 pieces. Each container is placed in a separate cardboard box.

The duration of the therapeutic course is determined by the local doctor in accordance with the results of laboratory diagnostics, the results obtained, and indicators of drug tolerability.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Pharmacodynamics

Phospholipids, in particular phosphatidylcholine, are structural elements of cell walls and intracellular membranes. Entering the body when taking medication, they promote the restoration of damaged liver cells, inhibit the formation of connective tissue and the replacement of normal tissue with connective tissue elements (prevention of fibrosis ).

Glycyrrhizic acid suppresses inflammatory processes and the ability of viruses to reproduce. This is due to the fact that it stimulates the production of interferons and phagocytosis. Glycyrrhizic acid also has an antioxidant and membrane-stabilizing effect.

Pharmacokinetics

All components of the drug and their active metabolites are very well absorbed in the intestines. through the bloodstream to the organs of the human body, which they actively influence.

Influence of constituent elements

The composition of Phosphogliv Forte is presented:

  • phospholipids;
  • trisodium salt of glycyrrhizic acid;
  • food additive E 321, E171, 172;
  • ethyl alcohol;
  • sunflower oil;
  • gelatin.

Hard capsules with a gelatin base are packaged in packs of 50 units.

The combined medication suppresses the activity of viruses, protects liver cells, and stabilizes the condition of cell membranes. Main Ingredient:

  • restores the structure and functionality of membrane elements if they are damaged;
  • regulates the secretion of mucus in the stomach;
  • increases blood circulation in it and accelerates healing processes;
  • stabilizes the metabolism of proteins and lipids;
  • prevents loss of nutrients in liver cells;
  • restores the basic anti-intoxication function of the liver;
  • prevents replacement by connective tissue;
  • reduces the risk of formation of fibrosis and cirrhosis.

Due to glycirate, inflammation is stopped and the proliferation of viral infections in the organ is prevented. The process is caused by the production of interferon, accelerating the process of phagocytosis, and increasing the activity of killer cells.

For non-infectious liver pathologies, it reduces the risk of developing allergies and inflammation. In case of skin diseases, it stops the further spread of the lesion and promotes its regression.

Indications for use

The use of Phosphogliv Forte is indicated for:

  • acute and chronic forms of viral hepatitis ;
  • hepatosis (fatty liver degeneration);
  • liver damage caused by medications, alcohol, and other toxins;
  • liver cirrhosis;
  • intoxications of various origins;
  • some skin diseases ( psoriasis , neurodermatitis , eczema ).

For whom is it necessary and prohibited?

The abstract indicates the following groups of patients for whom the medication is intended:

  • with fatty liver degeneration – fatty hepatosis;
  • damage to the organ due to alcoholic, toxic, and medicinal factors.

The drug is contraindicated:

  • women during lactation and during pregnancy;
  • minors under 12 years of age;

Treatment of overdose

Accidental or intentional increase in prescribed doses leads to general intoxication of the body and manifests itself:

  • swelling of tissues and increased blood pressure due to fluid retention in tissues;
  • a drop in sodium ions in the bloodstream.

Therapy depends on the severity of the clinical picture of poisoning. In most cases, it is limited to reducing the initial dose and prescribing spironolactone from 50 to 100 mg per day.

Pharmacodynamics

Combined remedy. It has membrane-stabilizing, hepatoprotective and antiviral effects.

Phosphatidylcholine (the main component of phospholipids) is the main structural element of cellular and intracellular membranes, capable of restoring their structure and function when damaged, providing a cytoprotective effect.

Normalizes protein and lipid metabolism, prevents the loss of enzymes and other active substances by hepatocytes, restores the detoxification function of the liver, inhibits the formation of connective tissue, reducing the risk of fibrosis and cirrhosis of the liver.

Glycyrate (glycyrrhizic acid and salts) has an anti-inflammatory effect, suppresses the reproduction of viruses in the liver and other organs by stimulating the production of interferons, increasing phagocytosis, and increasing the activity of natural killer cells. It has a hepatoprotective effect due to its antioxidant and membrane-stabilizing activity. Potentiates the effect of endogenous glucocorticosteroids, providing anti-inflammatory and antiallergic effects in non-infectious liver lesions.

In case of skin lesions, due to the membrane-stabilizing and anti-inflammatory effects of the components, it limits the spread of the process and promotes regression of the disease.

Pharmacokinetics

The components of the drug are well absorbed in the intestine, both in the form of the whole molecule and the bioactive products of their hydrolysis (unsaturated fatty acids, choline, glycyrrhetic acid), which, after absorption through the intestinal walls, easily penetrate the liver, lungs, skin and other organs.

How does Phosphogliv work?

Phosphogliv is considered the only drug in the country that is capable of restoring and treating one of the most important human organs - the liver.

The drug can be taken not only for existing liver diseases, but also for preventive purposes. The liver is regularly subjected to heavy loads: unhealthy food, alcoholic drinks, stressful situations, lack of an active lifestyle. All this together affects the functioning of the human body.

When taking the medicine orally, it is well absorbed in the intestines. The maximum content of the active substance in the blood plasma occurs after 8-22 hours. Excreted in urine and bile.

When administered intravenously, the drug immediately appears in the blood, and the maximum concentration occurs much faster. It is also excreted in urine and bile.
